OrigaMIT Meeting Fall 2010

Today, Brian presented many pictures from his trip to the Japanese Origami conventions, and described various parts of it. Highlights included:
-origami challenges in japan- theme, freeform, and zodiac
-origamiUSA also has challenges in NYC (i.e. motor vehicles)
-conveyor belt sushi is fast food in Japan
-go to Japan for free as a guest- make diagrams, send pics, teach classes
-lots of interesting wildlife in Japan and Korea

Jason then taught a sea turtle (from Origami Zoo by Lang and Weiss), and some people made an optional biplane.
